Romania blends baroque cities, painted monasteries and the Dracula legend across the Carpathian mountains. How to apply
Romania has been a full Schengen member since 1 January 2025. It has no visa section in Cameroon and no other Schengen country represents it in Yaoundé. Create your application on eviza.mae.ro, choose the diplomatic mission where you will apply, book an appointment, then attend IN PERSON (fingerprints, signature, payment). The nearest Romanian embassy is in Abuja (Nigeria): email it (abuja@mae.ro) before starting the application to find out where to apply.

- 35 x 45 mm photo less than 6 months old
- Travel medical insurance (€30,000 cover, whole Schengen area)

Good to know
- •Schengen visa valid across the whole Schengen area (29 countries).
- •Fees are non-refundable if refused.
- •No way to apply in Cameroon: if Romania is not your main destination, apply to the country where you will spend the most time.
