How to apply
There is no TLScontact centre for Switzerland in Cameroon: you apply in person at the Swiss Embassy in Yaoundé. Fill in the online form on swiss-visa.ch, then print, date and sign it. Then request an appointment by email at yaounde.visa@eda.admin.ch (name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, form reference, phone, purpose and departure date). Appointments are Monday to Thursday, between 9:00 and 11:00.

- Signed passport valid more than 3 months beyond the end of the stay, + copies of the ID pages and visas
- swiss-visa.ch form, printed, dated and signed + 1 recent photo on a white background
- Schengen travel insurance (min. €30,000) valid across the Schengen area
- Confirmed round-trip booking, hotels in Switzerland for the whole stay and a trip itinerary
- Bank statements and payslips for the last 3 months, employment and leave certificates; national ID card and birth certificate
Good to know
- •The embassy announced (27 July 2026) a wait of about 60 days for a Schengen appointment: request it early, no earlier than 6 months before the trip.
- •Your finances are reviewed: bank statements and payslips for the last 3 months, leave certificate signed by your employer.
- •All applicants must appear in person; fingerprints are taken from age 12.
