Djo is off to Kenya, Ebelle to Tanzania, Vora to Uganda. Four rounds with Travora's real prices: visa, flight, hostel and one-week total. The loser buys the suya.
AFCON 2027 is played in three countries (19 June to 17 July 2027). If you're leaving from Cameroon for a week of matches, which one should you pick to spend the least? In the video, Djo, Ebelle and Vora played it out over four rounds, with Travora's prices as of 30 September 2026. Here's the breakdown.
Round 1: the visa

Kenya wins the deciding round, thanks to the free visa: it edges out Tanzania by 9,600 FCFA. Final score: 2-2 between Djo and Ebelle, 0 for Vora… who buys the suya.
Beyond the price
The cheapest isn't necessarily the best choice. Each country has its own appeal:
- Kenya: Nairobi National Park, with giraffes about twenty minutes from the city centre, and the Maasai Mara for the Great Migration.
- Uganda: the source of the Nile in Jinja and the gorillas of Bwindi.
- Tanzania: Zanzibar, its beaches and Stone Town. Budget for the mandatory $44 insurance for Zanzibar.
What's the same in all three
- A yellow fever card is required.
- They're two hours ahead of Douala.
- Plugs are British-style: bring an adapter.
